Every Tuesday 7pm

Welcome

If you’ve ever felt:
-
overwhelmed in your body
-
disconnected or numb
-
like slowing down is hard (or even unsafe)
-
or that traditional yoga doesn’t quite meet you where you are
This space is different.
Somatic Yin blends trauma-informed yoga with somatic healing principles to support your nervous system—not push it.
There’s nothing to achieve, no “perfect pose,” and no expectation to go deeper.
Instead, you’ll be guided to listen, notice, and move at your own pace.

Reconnect & Restore

-
Gently come out of stress or overwhelm
-
Build a sense of internal safety and support

Reconnect with your body in a gradual, choice-based way
-
Release held tension without force
-
Restore balance through rest and awareness
You’ll be invited—not instructed—to explore what feels right for you.
Who it's for
Everyone can benefit from a slower pace and nourishment through Somatic Yin and Restorative Yoga, but this class is especially for you if
-
You’re navigating stress, anxiety, burnout, or trauma
-
You want a gentler, more intuitive approach to yoga
-
You’re curious about somatic healing and nervous system work
-
You don’t want to be pushed, adjusted, or told what your body “should” do
-
You’re looking for rest that actually feels restorative
No prior experience with yoga or somatics is needed but some container and curiosity for this practice is advised. If you experience unmanageable emotions when coming to settle or tuning into your body, I recommend working on a 1:1 basis.

If you’re tired of pushing through, overwhelmed by life’s demands, or feeling disconnected from your body, this weekly nervous system reset is here to provide a sanctuary—a place where you can simply be. This is your space to rest, release, and return to yourself, gently and without pressure.
These classes are somatic-informed and Trauma-informed which means
-
Choice is always centred — you can opt in or out of anything
-
Language is invitational, never directive
-
Movements are slow, small, and optional
-
There is no hands-on adjustment
-
Being online means you can settle into familiar surroundings
-
Your body is never treated as a problem to fix
You are the authority on your own experience.
The Nervous System Reset is rooted in trauma-informed yoga and is offered through a somatic healing lens, which prioritizes safety, choice, and gentleness. Every class is designed to help regulate and soothe the nervous system, offering a restorative practice that encourages deep relaxation without forcing the body.
By creating a space where you can move and rest at your own pace, we honor the wisdom of your body and its need for healing. Trauma-informed and Trauma-Sensitive yoga is particularly effective for those recovering from stress, trauma, and burnout, helping to restore balance, calm, and resilience. Through slow, mindful movement and conscious rest, you'll gradually build a sense of safety, strength, and ease, both on and off the mat.
