Helping you Unwind
Exhale. Unravel. Come home to your body.
Join The Monthly Unwind, a soothing somatic yin and restorative yoga session crafted to support your nervous system, release tension, and gently rebalance from burnout and overwhelm.
Each month, we gather in a calm, nurturing space to slow down, reconnect, and move with awareness. Through a blend of somatic movement, long-held yin postures, and restorative stillness, you’ll soften layers of stress and create space for ease, calm, and renewal.
This practice welcomes all bodies and levels of experience—especially if you’re feeling exhausted, overextended, or in need of time to rest and reset. Expect nourishing support with props, grounding breathwork, and moments of guided rest that help your system settle deeply into safety and repair.
You’ll leave feeling rested, replenished, and more at home in yourself—ready to meet life with a steadier, softer energy.

What to expect
Each Monthly Unwind session is rooted in a gentle, somatic and nervous system-informed approach—designed to support your body in moving out of stress responses and into a state of safety, rest, and repair.
Rather than focusing on how a pose looks, we centre how it feels. You’ll be guided through slow, floor-based yin and restorative postures that invite awareness from within. These shapes are held with full support, allowing your body to gradually release held tension—particularly in areas often impacted by chronic stress, such as the hips, shoulders, and lower back. There is no expectation to push or perform—only an invitation to notice, soften, and respond to your body’s needs.
Throughout the session, we weave in simple, accessible breathwork and somatic practices that support nervous system regulation. You’ll be encouraged to move at your own pace, track sensation, and gently build awareness of your internal experience. This can be especially supportive if you often feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in patterns of “fight, flight, or freeze,” helping your system find more ease and stability over time.
Rest is a central part of this practice. You’ll be guided into periods of stillness through meditation and somatic awareness, offering space to reconnect with your body in a compassionate, non-judgemental way. These moments of deep rest allow your system to settle, integrate, and restore.
All sessions are held live via Zoom and run for 90 minutes, giving you the time and space to truly unwind without feeling rushed. You’re warmly invited to join from the comfort of your own home, creating a supportive environment with blankets, cushions, or anything else that helps you feel safe and at ease.
You can join from anywhere, with the option to simply listen, rest, and receive—honouring exactly where you are on the day.
