Service Description
This 12 week in-person programme aims to bring stabilisation to your nervous system & psychoeducation surrounding how the nervous system works as well as recognising your own nervous system states. Throughout the 12 weeks, you'll cover key areas of how to begin approaching a sense of safety in the body, allowing the body the slowly return back to presence. 01 Orientation & Grounding Through Orientation & Grounding practices we'll begin to understand how to bring a sense of safety back to the body using a bottom up approach. Developing an understanding of why & how this helps to begin the process of recovering from trauma & how to develop a practice that works for you as an individual. 02 Befriending the Nervous System As we begin to find practices that aid in bringing the body back into presence, we'll take a look into our nervous system states; what each state might look like for us leading with curiosity & discovering our internal language to understand which state might be modulating our behaviours. 03 Self-Regulation Understanding & learning to befriend our nervous system allows us to approach our symptoms with compassion & without judgement. We can then start to learn self-regulation techniques & how they may differ in our approach depending on what state our nervous system is in. Slowly being able to make appropriate choices for Vetral, Sympathetic & Dorsal states to help us return back to Ventral when we need it. 04 Integration Our last quarter of the programme focuses on integrating our understanding & stengthening the techniques we've found to help us. We'll recognise areas of growth & progress, identify practices to take forwards and looking ahead to what might be next as well as the power of the group & closure. All sessions are held online via zoom & includes a workbook for integration of the programme. Please Note: Sessions 4 - 6 are required to have full attendance in order for the continuation of the course, we are not able to record sessions due to the safety and integrity of the programme. If you are not able to make these sessions, you are invited to schedule a private session at an additional cost to continue the programme. This is to ensure the safety and integration of our work together in the programme. Please contact me if you are not able to make one of these sessions.

Cancellation Policy
12 Week Programme - Finding Safety Within Policy We are not able to provide refunds to our 12 week programme up to 14 days prior to the start date. This is to enable us time to replace any cancellations and begin preparation for the programme. We are not able to refund any part portions of the course that may not be attended. Due to the nature of this programme, should too many missed sessions occur, you will be required to schedule private sessions in order to complete any remaining sessions of the course at an additional cost to you. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of participants is upheld. We are not able to offer any refunds if you are no longer able to attend the course, or Katie Winder has deemed it unsafe for you to continue the course either due to frequent session misses or due to behaviour displayed within the course. Katie Winder reserves the right to refuse any future sessions due to behaviour deemed to be mental, physical or verbal abuse in any circumstance and reserves the right to cease sessions at any time at a forfeit of the session or course cost in line with our cancellation policy.
