Service Description
12-Week Trauma-Informed Yoga & Somatic Healing Programme This 12-week programme offers a gentle, body-based path back to safety, grounding, and presence. Through somatic tools, nervous-system education, and trauma-informed practices, you’ll learn to reconnect with your body and gradually restore regulation, awareness, and embodied wholeness — at your own pace, with compassion and choice. What We Will Explore Orientation & Grounding (Weeks 1–3) We begin with grounding and orientation practices that help you reconnect with your body and the present moment. Through simple, gentle movement, breath and awareness, we create a stabilizing foundation — giving your nervous system permission to settle and begin to feel safe. This bottom-up approach supports reclaiming a sense of embodied safety and presence. Befriending the Nervous System (Weeks 4–6) With nervous-system education and embodied practices, we explore what it means to “befriend” your nervous system. Together, we’ll develop a new, compassionate internal language for recognizing and understanding your own nervous-system states — noticing how hyper-arousal, shutdown or dysregulation manifest in your body, and what they might feel like for you. Self-Regulation & Re-Connection (Weeks 7–9) Building on awareness and understanding, we introduce self-regulation tools tailored to your unique nervous-system responses. Using breathwork, movement and mindful awareness, you’ll learn gentle strategies to support yourself — whether you are feeling triggered, overwhelmed, or disconnected — and begin to reclaim safety, choice, and agency in your body. Integration & Forward Practice (Weeks 10–12) In the final phase, we integrate everything you’ve learned. We reflect on growth and progress, deepen practices that support you best, and create a personalised plan you can take forward. This stage honours the power of community, shared experience, and individual healing — offering closure, consolidation, and the foundation for ongoing embodied presence. The course include all 12 classes, a digital booklet to explore alongsie the course and live classes held online via Zoom. Each participant is required to complete and intake form prior to the course which will be emailed to you upon booking. Please return this to katiewinderyoga@gmail.com prior to the course start date. As this is an online course and a supported, therapeutic space, you are required to keep cameras on during the sessions and is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
12-Week Programme – Finding Safety Within Policy Due to the nature of our online programmes, access links are issued at the point of booking. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds for the 12-week programme once a booking has been made. For in-person programmes, refunds may be available if cancellation is received at least 30 days prior to the course start date. This allows sufficient time to offer the place to another participant and to begin preparation for the programme. We’re unable to provide refunds for any sessions or portions of the course that are not attended. Given the nature of this programme, consistent attendance is important to support both your experience and the safety and wellbeing of all participants. If a significant number of sessions are missed, you may be required to complete the remaining sessions through private 1:1 appointments, which would be scheduled separately and at an additional cost. Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds if you are no longer able to attend the course, or if Katie Winder determines that it is no longer safe for you to continue. This may be due to frequent missed sessions or behaviour displayed within the programme. Katie Winder also reserves the right to refuse future bookings, or to cease participation in the programme at any time, if behaviour is deemed to be mentally, physically, or verbally abusive under any circumstances. In such cases, the session or course cost will be forfeited in line with our cancellation policy.
